How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

For Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 13 I decided to write this post out so I could go into more detail with them as I spent more time working with these than any of the other technologies. 

For the editing of the video, I used Adobe Premiere Elements 13. This was the first time I had used any video editing software so everything was completely new to me. Uploading files was very easy, whether they were videos, photos, or sound files. Trimming clips was very straightforward, however occasionally when I wanted to trim a clip it would displace every other clip in front of it, meaning it would make the lip syncing out of time. This was extremely frustrating and delayed my work a lot. When I cut the clips of footage it would also cut the song, meaning I would have about 10 different clips of audio and I had to spend time going through each one individually to change the level of sound.

Saving the video was also frustrating since it took about twenty minutes and saved it with a really low-quality resolution. Being able to see the audio of each video clip was useful as it helped me sync that particular clip with the song.
I used regular continuity cuts for the transitions for my video as these were the best to put in since it was appropriate for the music video and didn't lag the video when editing.
